Indoor Tan Goggles

Tanning with your eyes closed?

Today I went tanning for my 10th or 11th time in an indoor tanning bed. Every time, I close my eyes instead of using the goggles. Is it possible that my eye is damaged? It feels a bit weird.

When I used to tan I didn’t use the little goggles, I just shut my eyes. And I’m not blind :-P I think as long as you don’t open your eyes [it's REALLY bright], you should be fine. But if you’re worried you should ask your eye doctor, and maybe use the goggles instead.
