My SUNLESS/Self Tanner ALWAYS Rubs Off!!! How Can I Get It To STAY ON???
My Tanning Lotion ALWAYS rubs off an my clothes. I have to wash my clothes everytime I wear a light colored top to get the tanning lotion off of it.
And everytime I take a shower it comes off on my towel, so then it makes me really streaky, and I have to take all my Tan all off, and start over.
I have changed the Brand that I Use, Sooo many times and they all do the same thing, some are worse than others. I have used Neutrogena, Banana Boat, Jergens, ect. Avon was seriously the worst that I have ever used, I like L’oreal Sublime Gel the best, and the L’oreal Sublime Lotion, is pretty good, but all of them Rub off Really Bad.
…and I Do Exfoliate Before I Put It On, and that doesn’t help…

L’oreal is a good brand of self tanning lotion. I’m not sure why the others rubbed off on your clothes. Remember to exfoliate and then put it on then shower to remove excess tan and when towel drying your self off don’t rub hard on your skin just blot the towel. Afterwards apply moisturiser and it should work. The best time to put it on is at night and hour before going to bed and wear old clothes then in the morning have a shower to remove excess tan. It won’t go on your clothes then. Never apply tan in the morning then put on your good clothes-a very bad idea thats when it will stain and have blotches and go uneven.
